I have a Linksys cicco wireless-n extender. How do I pair it with my Verizon mi424?
Presumably an RE1000 ??
You need to use the installation CD that came with the device and run that on a computer that is close to the extender - for setup preferably have the extender and computer close to the router, you can move the extender later.
Run the setup cd and power on the extender when prompted to and connect to the extender - it's ssid is linksysextenderxxxxx where xxxxx is the last 5 digits of the serial number of the device. Select the wifi network for the VZ router and enter the network password select next. You will now be prompted to move the extender to it's final location.
