i just upgraded to the fios quantum router and i'm finding that i have worse connection issues then when i had the MI424WR. the wifi connection is constantly dropping in the back of my house. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to resolve this?
I did change the name of the 2.4GHz frequency so it is different from the 5GHz and am connected to the 2.4 but the connection still drops
any help would be appreciated.

Is auto channel selection enabled? Try turning that off and then seeing if either Channels 1, 6, or 11 provide better reliability. Also try giving the router a slight relocation. A foot can sometimes make a big difference.
