i downloaded adobe flash player, but when try to view a video it tells me to download adobe flash player which i already did, also when i try to go into certain websites it tells me the same thing, why????

That doesn't sound like a FiOS problem, but rather with something local to the device you're using. Might that be an iPad or IPhone? They won't run Flash and thus can't play Flash format videos.

First the obvious... was it installed after it was downloaded.
Check in Control Panel > Programs to verify
Also check your browser add-ons to make sure it is present and activated.
If it is installed and in your browser add-ons, uninstall the player then download and install again. Sometimes installations don't go right.

What operating system and web browser are you using (version numbers)?
