experiencing intermittent disconnect on fios internet (past 4 days). Any help here before I call support?

reset the router with a paperclip or pen in the reset hole on the back of the router for 15 seconds.. and try again
you can try manually rebooting the ONT, byu removing power to the battery back up unit, and removing the lead from the battery for a few minutes
if all else fails, contact tech support.

pretty nice router. are you hardwired or wireless and what operating system do you run?
do you ever notice any other interruptions in service when this happens so for example the tv stutters, or the phone goes dead?

hardwired/wireless - both
OS - linux,OS X,Windows 7 Professional, iphone
telephone and tv are ok
when the router disconnects the led turns off (on the internet icon on the router). it reconnects after a few minutes. but i can't work like this. any ideas?

Seems to be an old version of the Westell router.
Mine is a Hardware Version D
You could see what errors show up when it dieconnects by looking at the sytem log.

Thanks for the info. That fix worked. It was working fine for over a year before it acted up. Nice to know that good ole hard reset was all it needed.
