when you stwitch over to quantum gateway you have to reset you ip address by using
netsh int ip reset
netsh winsock reset catalog
i had problem with my server would not connect wired i locked it up and tried and it work
use cmd run as admin

Shouldn't have to do anything.
Server that is running DHCP should just pick up a new IP when it connects to the new router.
Assuming you are directly connected to rotuer.
If you have server on a switch that connects to rotuer, he won't see the link go down when you repalce the rotuer and therefore may have to be reset to re-establish new DHCP.
