"Resume FiOS Activation" Shortcut

After the installation and the man (who was very helpful) left, I found a shortcut named "Resume FiOS Activation" on my desktop. I opened it and saw my information in the window and hit "Next". After reading a bit, it told me to continue to activate my FiOS service. This leaves me confused because my Verizon FiOS service is already working. Has this already been done for me by the man who installed FiOS and must I do anything to this?

That is the initial step in the activation. notice you are only at 38%. If you proceed on this it will have you create your username/password, sign the TOS and bundleterms, and install the verizon toolbar, help and support icon, and several internet short cuts.

I would continue from where you are, but down at the end where it asks for "standard install" or "custom install", I'd choose custom and have it not install all the extras (unless you really want them).  But you do need to continue to complete the TOS and Bundle terms if for no other reason.

As for your other verizon email. If you want to keep the old one, just create a dummy (something that you are not interested in keeping) during this process, and then call Verizon Tech support so that they can "repoint" your old Verizon address to your Fios and overwrite the dummy you just created. Unfortunatly, the email addresses are done by service (i.e.  dial up, dsl, fios) and when you go from one to another, Verizon must "repoint" your email to the new service. Otherwise it will stop working shortly.

Did you create a verizon.net primary email account when the installer was on-site ?

I believe that this link will take you the screens to do this.

You also want to make sure that you activate your FIOS Bundle Discount by going here:

https://activate.verizon.net/fiosreg/tools/accept_tos: https://activate.verizon.net/fiosreg/tools/accept_tos

I haven't created an e-mail yet but I do already have one from a previous Verizon phone service. Must I create another?

Also, on the link that you gave me, all of that info is already in. Does this mean that I'm fine and my bundle discount is already activated?

Here's a picture of the step I'm on
