When I started my Fios account I had the option to rent or buy my Actiontec MI424WR-GEN3I router. I think I the price to buy it was $100. At this point I've had the router for 29 months and paid $144.71 to rent it.
Anyone know if there's a rent to own option now that I've paid for more than the original buy price? Could it be considered bought, and I can stop paying a rental fee? Or could I buy it at a reduced price and stop paying a rental fee?

If you are going to buy, I would buy a quantum router.
Its a bit more, but has more features.
I assume you have TV service.
If not, you can purchase any router you wish.
