When will Fios come to my area the Detroit Metropolitian area? I was told that Fios was coming to my area in about 6 months it has been about 14 months since that conversation.
Verizon usually doesnt post where they are installing ahead of time. However, they just sold off Washington, Oregon, and Indiana.
Fios is currently in FL, CA, TX, VA, MD, DE, PA, NJ, NY, MA, RI, CT, and a small spot in SC. Last press release that I read from Verizon regarding their expansion, said that they were halting building into new area's and focusing on the areas they are already in to expand they base and improve existing systems before they start expanding again. With the economy the way it is now, I would not be supprised if they are putting future expansion off for at least the near future.
