windows 7 & actiontec

I purchased a new laptop with windows 7 which has wireless capability in setup it is asking for a 8 digit router code which i cant seem to find anywhere not on router or in paperwork that came with it. I have the Actiontec MI424WR

Go into admin on your VZ router and access the wireless tab

There will be an ssid on there and below that you will find the wep key.

Personally I changed mine immediately, in fact changed it to wpa2

It;s up to you if you use what's there or define your own
