On turning on my Macbook Air I have a strong wireless connection to the ActionTec router and a connection to the internet. After about five minutes the internet connection drops but the wireless signal is still strong.
The internet access from an iMac with an ethernet connection works fine all the time.
The Air works flawlessly with the wireless at ny office and in other locations.
Rebooting computer and router hasn't correceted the problem.
Any suggestions?

Do you have any computers that are not Apple to test to see if the wireless drops? Which router are you using?

What version of OS X is installed to your Mac? Additionally, what revision ActionTec do you have?

I hade the same problem with my new FIOS Quantum router on my iPhane and iPads until I turned off the "automatic" channel selection on the router. Now they all work fine. Choose any channel. If, by any chance you get interface, just select another channel.
