I was sold a 99.99 package: Fios TV, wireless internet, unlimited local and long distance calling. Billing is $140.00 per month. Sales Fraud.
I agree with TimSykes. You must agree to the bundle price or you do not get that price. You would think that asking for the bundle should do. Also the bundle does not include hardware or taxes and goverment charges. 911 fee, tax. etc etc. Also the set top boxes add to the cost. Your bill may show seperate charges and then discounts. I think they have stopped billing that way, and now show the bundled price, then the hardware and fees. You will need to call billing and get it straight. They should fix your bill and give you a new amount due, if there is an error. If they refuse and you did not agree to the package you can tell them fix it or by. I am sure they will make it right. Everyone advertizes their price without taxes and fees. Example: Vonage tells everyone VOIP phone and unlimited long distance for $24.95, and with the taxes and fees it ends up at about $35. If you get confused and the Verizon person you talk to can not satisfy you, then ask for a supervisor. They have always fixed any billing issues I have had. It is frustrating when it happens, but at times errors do happen.
My 50 cents worth. I hope you get it straight. FIOS is a good service.
