YES!
BBC-America-HD would be awesome!
Channels do not go HD 'in groups'. Verizon needs to change their philosophy and add them as they go live! They need to PROVE they have almost unlimited bandwidth by always adding new HD AS IT LAUNCHES! Not weeks later.

Well......Having the bandwidth is not an issue. Obviously they have the bandwidth, but its not like they can just flip a switch an add a channel. There is a lot more involved in it than that. And Verizon has a tendancy to make everything harder than it needs to be. So I'm sure that there is a lot of work involved in getting the channels added, update the guide, add the channels into the sub frequencies and anything else that is needed. Its probably a bit more complicated than we think and that is why they do it in groups. Its probably too expensive to try to feed them in a channel at a time and they wait until enough channels are available to make it more affordable to make the changes.

Spacedebris, sounds like a logical explanation. Cornflake I do not agree with you at all, Verizon is already a serious player in that they already have carry more HD channels than practically everybody else. They don’t need to prove that, it’s the Comcasts of the world are the ones who are playing catch up. It does make me wonder how much money Verizon wasted adding those GOD AWFUL .tv channels and how much they are piddling away each month for them.
Also, they do not always add HD channels in groups, YES-HD appeared on it's own.
Anyway, I am all for BBCA HD, would love to see one of my favorite shows, Top Gear, in HD!!!

Well, guess we won't be getting BBC-A HD in time for the Torchwood miniseries and the Doctor Who special this week.
