BOOMERANG Not on Prime HD

Why is it that Boomerang is available on Select HD but not on Prime HD?

Shouldn't Prime HD be the Select HD channels, PLUS extra channels?

Please have Boomerang added to Prime HD!

Prime HD has The Hub which Select HD does not have, so downgrading is not an option.

I will switch back to Cablevision based on this alone as Boomerang is a necessary channel in our home.

If Boomerang cannot be added, I would like a reasonable answer as to why that is, as, rationally, it does not make any sort of sense.

The best place for your question/suggestion would be in the Verizon Idea Exchange.  You are more likely to get a response from a Verizon employee.

I have the same question!  I just downgraded from Extreme to Prime because we weren't watching most of the extra channels on Extreme.  Before I made the switch, I scrolled through the side-by-side listings for each plan to make sure I wasn't losing anything I wanted to keep.  Frankly I didn't see the issue with Boomerang - probably because it's listed under Select, so I didn't look closely to make sure it was also listed under Prime.  I agree it makes no sense that this channel is available in the low-end and high-end packages but not in the mid-range.

Things like this are probably because of the wording of agreements.  Verizon is likely required to carry in their lowest tier.  Cases like carried in Prime and not Extreme, are likely because they are required to carry in their most popular tier.

True.  But it doesn't explain why there are a couple of channels that are in Prime but not Extreme.  Or that are available in HD in Prime but not Extreme.  I don't know of any other television provider that doesn't also include the channels from the lower tiers into their next higer tier.
