Channel 571 on the fios guide is listed as espn buzzer beater when in fact it is espn bases loaded where there is no logo there to indicate what it correctly is and the channel that is programmed into the guide is not the correct one. The channel is espn buzzer beater when it is college basketball season which is now over and is espn goal line when it is college football season but now it is college baseball season where the guide should indicate that it is bases loaded. Now this should be of no surprise to anyone because the guide still has gol tv in english listed there at channel 313 with a logo and schedule even though the channel was dropped on may 6, 2013 so verizon is not permitted to carry the english feed but they still are doing it 10 days after it was supposed to be removed. Then there is the matter of univision telenovelas that was added at channel 1584 weeks ago but no one knows that it is there because the guide has no logo or any other kind of indication that it is there. It is listed as tlnovelas (telenovelas) but the problem is that everything that is in that block on the guide is a telenovela channel. La telenovela network channel 1590, pasiones 1583 and a bunch of other telenovelas networks are all there so there is nothing to differentiate univision telenovelas from the rest where adding the logo would help let people know that it is there. What is the point of adding channels and doing deals with providers if there will be no notification or any kind of indication that the channels have been added to the guide?
mm1, to the best of my knowledge ESPN Bases Loaded is a brand new channel that starts on May 31 to use this channel in between College Football & Basketball seasons.
It's only May 16!
Doesn't become Bases Loaded until May 31, so I don't understand what the problem is here.
You people at verizon really need to wake up and get with the program. I started this thread several weeks ago and there is still no listing on the guide for espn's bases loaded where buzzer beater is still listed on the guide. At 2pm today the games will be starting and a few days ago i got an email from verizon about how on may 31 espn bases loaded on channel 571 would be up and running so people can enjoy the games. Well it is nowhere to be found. Go to channel 571 and see for yourselves verizon. Not only is the logo that is on the guide wrong but how it is programmed into the guide is wrong too. There is also no schedule there where the message that you see on the guide is that it is off the air. Fix it now before your technical support people start getting angry phone calls about this issue and the fact that people are missing out on games because the channel is not up and running as you said it would be. It is not the only problem as you still have the gol tv in english channel listed there at channel 313 even though it was dropped on may 6 after emails were sent out in april alerting customers to the fact that the channel was going to be dropped . There are people who are going to that channel and trying to order it because that is the message they are getting on the screen that if they want it they have to place an order for it. If you are going to try to address this then you can also take a look at channel 1524 univision deportes which has the logo of national geographic mundo channel 1564 so it appears to people as if you have 2 national geographic mundo channels even though it is only on channel 1564. Bet gospel channel 225 has the right logo but it is programmed into the guide as "up tv" which is another channel so it is indicating that it is two different channels. It appears your guide provider who is getting dropped this fall for another provider has made a decision they are going to intentionally mess things up on the guide from here until they are no longer responsible for the guide data.
Says "Bases Loaded" in my guide. Nothing on the programming schedule, not that I'd ever watch five minutes of college baseball anyway.
