Just added the sport pass, but I noticed there is no La Liga scheduled on beIN Sport's TV guide, neither on beIN Sport nor beIN Sport Spanish, La Liga will be back on next weekend, anyone knows what's going on?

Go to the guide and look for channel 1538 which is bein espanol for the listing that is on saturday 8-17-2013 at 1:30pm. On the guide it will be described as futbol espanol liga adelante (spanish soccer league preview) and that is what the la liga games will look like on the guide from now on until bein sport updates their information as to who is playing who in those games. It is not verizon or their new guide provider's fault that there is no specific information as to who is playing who in those games because if you go to the bein sport website beinsport.tv then click on tv guide where you scroll to saturday august 17 1:30pm you will see that there is no specific desciption of what teams are playing. There are also more games on sunday from 1pm-5pm. If you were to google "la liga" you will get the schedule of what teams are playing not only at that time but at other times too. If you were to look at the bein sport tv guide schedule on their website you will also see that the games before and after it are listed as "futbol" with no specifics of who is playing. This is an issue that can only be corrected by someone contacting bein sport via twitter, facebook or an email to let them know to list the teams that are playing on their website so that tv companies who have people who have that channel as part of their tv package can know who is playing who. Both bein sport channels will not be carrying the la liga games where i believe that only bein espanol has them where bein espanol has a lot of other games that bein usa does not. Back in june when there were 6 world cup qualifying games only bein espanol had them all while bein usa only had half of them.

BeIN is notorious for not posting TV schedules for the weekend until Thursday, what's listed now are just placeholders. But if you go to their online portal beinsportplay.tv, and click on schedule (just x out of the pop-ups), they have the preliminary list for what will be on this weekend.
Real Sociedad v Getafe - BeIN Sport Espanol, 1pm
Valladolid v Athletic Bilbao - BeIN Sport Espanol, 3pm
Valencia v Malaga - BeIN Sport Espanol, 5pm
Barcelona v Levante, BeIN Sport USA & Espanol, 1pm
Real Madrid v Real Betis, BeIN Sport USA & Espanol, 3pm
Sevilla v Atletico Madrid, BeIN Sport Espanol, 5pm

Take a look at your guide now. It has la liga's games on the guide listed. Bein sport made the correction and if you were to go to bein espanol channel 1538 you will see that starting on the guide at 12:45pm on saturday august 17 there will be three la liga games in a row. The guide will have them listed as "futbol espanol primera division." You can set la liga up as a series to record but you have to know that games sometimes go over their time that is on the schedule so if they go into overtime you may miss the final minutes of a close game. Enjoy la liga now while you still can because it is having a lot of financial issues and many of their best known players are going to play for other teams that are not in spain which has upset the spanish government because they desperately need all the money that they can get. La liga is around 875 million dollars in debt thanks to a lot of back taxes that they have not paid as of yet and as everyone knows by now spain is in the midst of an economic recession which has left over 26% of the country without work although some analysts believe that number is even larger than that. The story that is a must read for la liga fans so that they can know what is going on is from a new york times story about how the downfall of la liga may be on the way. Google "spending their way out of la liga" to see the story. If la liga loses its appeal then you will have a lot of american tv providers reconsider their decision to go with bein sport because la liga was a big reason why they went with bein sport and decided to drop gol tv.

Let's all laugh together: after all the blood and sweat and tears of pleading for this channel, which resulted in GolTV being canned, BeIn rewards us by pushing most of the games to BeIñ. It isn't that I would miss that **bleep** Phil Schoen ruminating and drooling at the amazing rate of two words a second, not to mention the other pinheads they have at that station. It's that BeIñ - oh, what a surprise - requires an upgrade!!! Of course, to get it, I have to get every station from Chile, Ecuador, Bolivia, and Vincent and the Grenadines. Soon, I will have to pay $200/month to watch basically five stations.
Go look at their TV Guide now. I am aware that Madrid and Barcelona are being shown on the flagship, but check out the horde of games on the Ñ version. And they don't even show the replays on the flagship. I know there are a lot of people who think it's worth just watching Barcelona and Madrid throttle everyone weekly, but I'm not one of them.
Can't wait to see how they handle the Italian games. Maybe they'll start a BeItalia and we'll have to pay $30 for that as well.
Oh well, back to finding games somewhere on the computer
