On 2/7 I Changed internet and TV Package plus ordered new box. How can this possibly take a week to see the new channels and increaased internet speed? I have tried to call, Live Chat and the avatar guy. I cant even figure out how long till the new box ships. Is this normal? It used to be that you would see the changes the same day.

This has nothing to do the the box. The box is simply an upgraded box for one room. That does not stop the additional channels from being added. This is an existing account. And the box certainly does not have anything to do with increasing the internet speed.

I agree that is how things *should* be, but that is not how Verion's ordering system works. As is discussed in that thread I linked, where that user has a problem similar to yours, the Verizon ordering system needs that STB to be activated before the rest of the order is processed. Just the way it is.

Ekem015 is correct. The Verizon ordering system only allows 1 ticket per acount at any one time. So, if you want to change packages and order a new box(and get the new channels right away), you have to call and change packages, then wait for them to update. Then call back and order the new box. If done in that order you will get your new channels within 24 hours and not have to wait for the box to arrive to have everything update.
