Out of those three I have 475 and it is a local channel. You might want to tell the city you live in if you want someone local to check.
If they are in you guide and you get not available then it could be a line issue. Reseat the coax line. Do you have more than one cable box. If so, do they both have the same problem?

Thank you for answering. No, it is not local. They are in the guide and we have lived in two houses in the area and they were available in both places. It is not technical issue, all other channels work well. Exactly 475 is NHK Japanese tv in English. The other two are French and Russian in English, broadcasting from US. I would be surprised if other people don't have these channels - France24 and RT.
Verizon cut channels but not the price of the package.
Thank you for your attention.

Channels in that range ARE LOCALS. Normally sub-channels carried by one of your regular channels. Possibly being discontinued or rearranged by your local stations.

Thank you. I didn't know that are locals, but your answer makes sense. My family spent most of the time on these channels and we miss them. Do you know who to contact? It is unusual because the names and signs of the channels still stay unchanged. There is no message for subsription or new channels substituted them. It is strange.
If you say so, they will discontinue them for sure. They were news channels, uncensured and gave a true picture of the news in the world.
Thanks again.

Remember you are talking to peers here.
We don't know where you are in the country and so what locals you have. You would have to ask them about what they are doing. See partial chart for NHK World
Note some of these channels MAY be carreid by Verizon in the very expensive foreign packages. And probably each in a seperate package.
NHK World (note the terrestial digital thannels listed are actually the ones that are, or were, carried by Verizon)

Really? This is wonderful news! Thank you very much. Our first thought was that they were discontinued on purpose. Very interesting and informative channels.
Thank you so very much!
