Cooking Channel HD

They offer cooking channel but not in HD?  Why would there be a hold up on that?

Doesn't foodnetwork own cooking channel?  Any idea on when Cooking Channle will be added in HD?

I watch that channel all the time, when i switched to FIOS i figured it would be HD so never checked, just confirmed they had it.

 It sounds like this post would be a perfect candidate for the Verizon Idea Exchange. Any updates in this topic? I just called they said they don't know anything about this.The only thing they did say is that the fact that we don't have this channel could have to do with the agreement between Verizon and the cooking channel.
