Probably one of a couple of different issues.
It could be that you are on a different package than you were at your old location. Many of the older packages (depending how long you had service at the old location) are not available anymore. And you may have changed from something like the old "essentials" package to the new "Prime HD" package, which has much fewer channels.
Now you didnt say how far you moved. Many local and even some cable channels are only available in certain areas. So you may have moved to an area that no longer carry's some channels. This really should only be a handful, not 40 channels. But it could account for some.
Do the channels say "not subscribed" or are they just not listed on the guide or do they say "not available"?

As much as I like the Verizon service, they do have some sleazy business practices when it comes to subscribers. Don't feel bad, because they screwed the majority of us and removed channels from our packages. This is a ploy to get people to pay more for their ULTIMATE package...where you can get the lost channels back...but you're forced to also take a bunch of channels that you have no interest in...and pay more for them. Nothing we can do about it. Me,..I'll never take the ULTIMATE package...bercause I resent being coerced to.
