For those who missed it, Verizon has decided to drop ESPN 3d sometime soon starting Tomorrow. This is currently mentioned in your hard copy bill. For those of you who don't get one, you probably didn't think to look for it.
This is a few months earlier then ESPN's announced end of service for the channel.
I know lots of you don't have 3d or didn't subscribe to Ultimate (or pay the extra cost for a seperate subscription), but the channel was interesting in giving you a better look at some sports.

ESPN was hosing providers at $2.71 a month per subscriber for ESPN 3D. Good riddance.

They originally said the end of the year, but all their major carriers including Verizon said they wanted to terminate earlier. Verizon saying on Sep 24. Once they heard that they announced Sep 30.

It was also mentioned in the message center on the dvr/set top box menus that most never go look at.

Wouldn't hold my breath expecting to see a bill reduction now that it's gone though. From any provider.
