Easy Listening Gone???

The Easy Listening music channel seems to have suddenly disappeared from the Verizon Fios Burlington MA channel lineup. It has been on channel 1838, but today I find that although next to the channel number in the Guide it says "MCeasy", the program listed and playing is MC Tropicales. If Verizon is no longer offering Easy Listening, I guess it is time to switch to Comcast.

I agree.  I see the lineup has changed, and that new channels have been added.  But there is no mention of the Easy Listening station being removed.  Was this a Verizon FIOS decision not to include this channel in their lineup any longer?

I miss easy listening also...this morning I asked a friend who has Comcast to check and she still has it in her MC lineup...you're right...one more reason to move on over

Check messages on your DVR or STB. I received a message about music channel changes a while ago. (And would you really change providers based on the Music Choice channels? Wow.)

@ sangs....I work out of my home and have it on all day...there are no vocals,  just instrumentals, so easy to concentrate on my work...so, yes, I would change.

Well, for years now, I always have the TV on when I'm home, and most of the time I'm listening to Easy Listening instead of music on the radio or CDs. No annoying ads, don't have to change CDs. It was great!... right up until this morning when Verizon pulled the rug out from under my feet! And no, I don't see Easy Listening listed in the list of music channel changes in the Messages on my DVR. And it still says "MC Easy" next to the channel number, but it's not. I'm hoping that the removal of Easy Listening was a mistake and it will be back...(?)

Check out Soundscapes.  Channel 1842 in my area.

I was horrified this morning when I put it on for me and my dog to ease into the morning and it wasn't there!  I just checked out music choice website and they didn't eliminate it, yet it looks like Verizon hasn't increase the music choice channels to 50!  I have nothing on my channel options after "blues" yet, according to music choice, we should see Singers & Swing, (our) Easy Listening, Classical Masterpieces and Light Classical.  All the good ones, of course no where to be found.  Can we get Verizon to add these???

Ok, I checked the FIOS listings, and the new channel assigned to the MC Easy Listening channel is 1847.  The problem is that my channel selection stops at 1845.  What the heck?
