Ok, I checked the FIOS listings, and the new channel assigned to the MC Easy Listening channel is 1847. The problem is that my channel selection stops at 1845. What the heck?
In your "Favorites" list or the "All Channels" list? I have 1847 here.
Update: I spoke to an online Verizon (third one this morning). He reloaded the channel lineup, so my channel guide now goes all the way up to 1849. He said that has to be completed by a Verizon rep, cannot execute this action yourself (note: I was able to use the channel up button to get to this station, but the info display didn't display anything).
Channel 1847 does show Easy Listening on the channel guide. The bad news: It is not Easy Listening, but rather Spanish music. Not what I was expecting. In fact, channels 1846-1849 are all Spanish Music, but the channel guide does not support this.
The Verizon rep I spoke to is reporting this issue to their Support Team. Hopefully they will have all the Music Channels correctly mapped soon.
i just spoke with a Verizon rep also... he said the new line up should have Easy Listening on 1847 as someone else said, even though my box didn't show anything beyond 1845 this morning. I'll try when i get home and hopefully we'll have good news and our Easy Listening channel & Classical, and all the other goodies back!
Well, Vz seems to be having a tough time getting their music channels straightened out today. All day I couldn't find Easy Listening anywhere, although it was listed in the Guide as 1847 but wasn't there. A few minutes ago I found it on 1848 where Classical Masterpieces is supposed to be, per the Guide. Now, a few minutes later, Easy Listening is on 1847 like the guide says. Good grief! At least it's back. I hope this shell game is over.
It would have been nice if FIOS had told us they had shuffled the music channels around? I was trying to find the Holiday music channel yesterday and it had been moved. I found it fairly quickly but still a quick e-mail should have been sent out to notify the subscribers.
Most of the reshuffling was done by MC, although the actual channel assignments were Verizon's. I know the message that went out made it clear that lots of realignment was occurring with the MC channels, and I don't think it gave all but a few highlights of those changes.
