Extreme HD and HBO in Jersey City

I recently got a new Verizon FIOS Double Play package(Internet + TV). Bought the Extreme HD package and while placing the order it indicated the package included HBO + Showtime. Seeing HBO was the reason that I went for Extreme HD, otherwise was planning for Prime HD + HBO separately. I got HBO for the first couple of days but later it stopped. Called up the customer support and they are indicating that HBO isnt part of the Extreme HD package. Even now when I try placing a new order I see HBO included as part of the Extreme HD package. I even had the customer person try placing a new order for my building and he also saw the website HBO indicating HBO part of the Extreme HD package.

Is there any way to get this escalated? It isnt fair to show something when you place an order and later say it isnt part of the package.

Thanks.

The confusion may exist because these channels are not included in all Extreme HD packages, but instead are only offered in certain areas and/or with certain new bundle deals. You would not be the first person to sign up for such a deal and then get the runaround when the channels do not appear as stated in the offer. I would be persistent and let Verizon know that they can either fix the problem or cancel the new contract (or perhaps you would rather amend the contract back to the Prime channel package). Ask for a supervisor and then the supervisor's supervisor. Ask for names. Make sure to mention your zip code, county, and bundle package if the CSR is claiming that the channels are not included. Yes, they do have that information, but that doesn't mean they are using it. Mention the words Bait-and-Switch. Make sure that the issue is resolved to your satisfaction before the 30-day trial period is over.
