FIOS Mobile app TV listings dont work

Yet another problem.   Smiley Mad

When I want to record a show when I'm away from home I can't.

I can't get the TV listings to appear unless I'm connected to my home WiFi.

Now my app worked just fine before Verizon updated it. (Galaxy S3 Android)

Verizon should let us continue to use a working application and not force an update.

What happens when I launch it without WiFi is:

I get a blank listing of the TV channels, then I go into the settings and select HD only and BAM....

ERROR:

We apologize, but we are unable to process your request at this time.

Please try again in a few minutes.

Error Code: 200

I have cleared the cache and App data to start fresh, no difference.

I uninstalled & reinstalled same thing.

My phone is a registered device with my FIOS account.

I sent an email which was useless, they just send an automated response. This is unacceptable!

So what gives?

Why won't the TV listings display when on 3G/4G LTE?

I even enabled WiFi when I was mobile against my better judgement and same thing.

What use is it if I can only get the listings when I'm connected to my home WiFi?

If I'm home I can just turn on the TV guide menu to schedule and don't need the mobile App.

So, in essence the App is useless.

I have not tried the other features, my main use was to schedule a recording if I was away from home.

So... does anyone have any ideas or other suggestions?

I have having the same issue. No TV listings unless connected to WiFi.

I've been having the same issue since the app updated. The app used to work great, now, as you said, it's basically worthless. Need help verizon!

I jsut tried it from from Samsung S4. Both via my work wifi and via 4G.

Both get listings with no issue.

What platform and version are you running? I am running version 3.6.7/

Have you tried leaving feedback under help?

I have heard the developers are good about getting back to people with issues.

As I said above I am on the Samsung Galaxy S3

The app worked fine until that update. And no new update available.

I haven't had time to address the issue any further or click the link provided to me via email.

I've been taking care of my mother who broke her hip this winter which has me flat out busy.

I'm hoping to try and see if it's resolvable over the next few days.

But I'm glad that I'm not the only one with issues.

Bottom line is even though I'm not able to use the app, it is very disappointing but it's not life threatening.

BTW, I just checked it and it hasn't changed.

Launched the app shows blank TV Listings.

If I try and set it to show HD only channels I get:

Error

We apologize, but we are unable to process your request at this time.

Please try again in a few minutes.

Error code 200

Ok

No it's not Ok LOL

Have you tried contacting them at the link they provided?

Or contacted support?

I just had an issue with accessing my DVR remotely (both via app and online).

Support via twitter was helpful.

They got me in to a chat session with somone who diagnosed the problem and turned it over to another group who fixed it in a couple of days).

My time was maybe 30 minutes total.
