I just got  the FIOS PACKAGE DEAL  what deal comes for the T.V.(EXTREME HD OR  PRIME HD OR ULTIMATE HD)?????

The channel guide is useless. They have taken channels, and the channel numbers do not match up. It might tell you that your watching something at 8 Pm, but the program will be completely different. They also tell you they have channels that don't exist, when you try to manually input them. Very disappointed with Fios right now.

Sorry but in 2 1/2 years I have never experienced most of this. While I have many issues with the lousy guide I've never seen anything where the "channel numbers do not match up" or channels that don't exist (phantom channels). Sounds like you're doing something wrong. Now the issue where what program is listed on the guide and what is actually being shown not matching, oh yea, that nonsense happens ALL too often and is by far my biggest beef with the guide!!!

Not doing anything wrong, it says I am supposed to have channels 511, and 515, when I try to to input 511, or 515 it takes me to another channel. These channels are listed on the guide for my HD, but they do not exist, Verizon has acknowledged this, unless they are doing something wrong, and the three techs who have came to my house are doing something wrong?

there is a glitch sometimes that does that, so try this and see if it fixes that issue (channel skipping)

menu > settings > system info.

just highlight system info don't try to go into it (you can't) but it has to be displayed for the code.

punch in 2617 and hit ok. you should see a confirmation message that says you have executed command 2617 succesfully and then reboot your box.     after that it should fix it - if it was the same problem that i am thinking of.
