I can't wait until my two year contract expires (I pay more than $200/month including internet) so I can switch to a less expensive provider and with more soccer channels in HD (ESPN Deportes and GOL TV).

I am sorry you feel that way but I know soccer fans are very devout to their sport. We are expanding our HD line up all the time and continually making improvements. Perhaps we will meet your specific needs and change your mind before it comes to that. If you would like some assistance in reviewing your present contract for cost savings I can assist. Respond to the private message when you get a chance.
Thanks

However as of right now fios is only average at best for football fans. Ask anyone, we love watching those games on ESPN2 HD, now this is what would be ideal, fsc HD which I think someone said was coming which is good;thumbs up.now we would like Fox Deportes, ESPN deportes and goltv all in HD.
Come on Verizon I think u all could do that! Especially when fiber optics is so superior to dish or cable. Now there is no need for us to talk ugly, even when sometimes the costumer representatives dont understand us football fans. Can we get any word on this? Is there a possibility that we may get those channels in hd. Always remember that if the competition offers them I think you guys should offer them too. Thanks

Right now, FIOS offers some channels that other providers don't. Maybe not soccer channels...but other viewers have preferences in channel selection as well. That is why people in areas that have DISH, DTV, etc...are pleading to have FIOS!
(And why I dread a future day when I might have to move to an area without it!)

Thanks, How can I get in contact with a sales rep to discuss my contract? And more importantly, the channel lineup?

I can't agree more. Fox Soccer HD will be super, but GolTV in HD is what I want!!! Even though I can't speak spanish, I love LaLiga. I am also close to bailing on my $180 a month package. Also only getting 1 or 2 HD channels on Major League Extra Innings is a joke.

No, unless you watch it on ESPN3.com.
Interestingly enough, despite all of the marketing ESPN has done for RM/Barca over the past 3 wees, they relegated it to ESPN Deportes. I thought that an odd choice from the ESPN uppers.

So far nobody has contacted me even after making the explicit request. In the meantime, nice soccer matches (La Liga, Copa del Rey, Champions league) are happening in HD broadcasted by other carriers. Bye bye Verizon.
