This coming Sunday, 19 February the FIOS TV listings for Channel 513 PBS shows incorrent information.  Masterpiece is on at 9PM not 10PM and runs for two(2) hours, 9 to 11PM.

 

Where does Verizon get its information from?  There are always errors in the guide especially for PBS.

I've been a subscriber since June 2008 and the guide data has been pure garbage from my first day. I thought they got their data from some outfit called FYI. I don't know if that has changed but I do know the guide is as unreliable now as it was back in 2008.

There have been many requests to change guide data providers. Vote for mine,

Also Vote for this one that is more than two years old, and states they are working on making the data better.

It seems like the drawback with switching providers, is that it might cut into their profits, and or require a new img for them to use Tribune Media Services that almost all other providers use. It is MOST ACCURATE, and what is found on the TiVO box my daughter uses. Yes I do find errors in the guide from time to time, but not as many as when the first idea in the second link above was posted.
