Hallmark Movie Channel availability

Why is this channel free on Prime HD and Ultimate HD and not available on Extreme HD at all? Thank you

Need to ask the Verizon brain trust, not the people here.  This has been complained about since the move was made to create Ultimate and they actually removed the channel from Extreme.  Makes no sense since every other TV provider includes the the lowest tier in the next higher tier, the second tier in the next higher tier, etc.

Makes perfect since to marketing executives. Just like taxes, the middle man pays the price. Let's see. Give the budget people that don't want the most a good deal. Take something away from the middle class, and give it to the rich. So you too will want to be rich some day.Smiley Mad

Back in early November, I went into my local store to pickup an additional STB because I wanted to expand into the den. While I was there, I reworked my contract from Old Extreme with Movie Package to New Extreme with Movie Package, got the additional STB, upped my internet speed, and all for less money than before! Now get this - I asked about various topics including the forum displeasure about HMC and MGM channels being removed, and the perky attendant told me there had been so many negative complaints that Verizon would let me add them back into my package at no cost! I actually had a choice between these channels and some other offerings. I had not heard of this before, not even on the forums. I don't know for sure if that deal is available everywhere, or still offered even. But I do know that going to the local store and talking to a person face-to-face can pay benefits. It certainly  doesn't hurt to ask.  Good luck.   Thank you.

One of the reasons I went to ultimate was to get these channels back. Plus the added speed I THOUGHT would be usefull. Turned out you can send at 35mbps to very few users on other networks. Even when they have 20mbps download speeds. If the tiers would have the programming the lower tiers have, I would probably go back to extreme and 25/25. Verizon is the only vendow that does this to squeeze you to the next tier.
