Here we go again! Both the 1/20 & 1/21 episodes of Hawaii Five-O are still not ON Demand as of 1/22@ 4:40 PM! Also the ABC show Revenge from 1/20 is also not on yet. Is this problem ever going to be fixed? Why is taking so long to put prime time shows ON DEmand?

Hello,

The On Demand TV shows are not usually available for viewing the next day but may take 3 days (sometimes a week) or so to show up in the library.

If you really want to see the most recent episode of:

-- Hawaii Five-O, CBS has full episodes of some of their TV shows for viewing online:   http://www.cbs.com/shows

-- Revenge, ABC also has full episodes of some of their TV shows for viewing online: http://abc.go.com/watch/shows

If you prefer to watch the shows on TV rather than on a computer, you can also try getting a DVR set top box and recording the shows that you like, paricularly if you really need to see them the same day/week after the shows have been aired and cannot watch them during the particular time that they are shown on TV.

This is what we do at home... we have a list of recorded TV series, and on the evening (usually one or two weeknights a week) that we have time to watch a few shows, we'll take a look if they are available on demand, and then if they are there, we'll watch the on demand version and delete the recorded episode to free up space on the DVR.

Basically, we're using On Demand as a back-up for our DVR (and vice versa).

Hope this helps!

Thanks for your reply, but I beg to differ with you about it usually takes more than 24 hours for shows to appear ON Demand. Other cable providers,eg Comcast, have shows on the very next day about 95% of the time. They have an ON DEmand team who are responsible for managing this feature. I was told by Verizon tech support that they do not have anyone specifically assigned to handle On Demand programming and that a lot of times they are running behind because of other responsibilities. Verizon needs to address this problem as many customers, besides me, are complaining it on the Community website.

Thanks again!
