Help on new Set-Top-Box That I recently ordered!
TheTechMaster31
Hi,

I ordered a new set-top-box (FIOS Quantum Enhanced TV edition), wanting to try it out for my own convenience. However, it turned out that it was not how I would expect it to be. Now I do not want to keep this new set-top-box any longer and it has only been for a few days. How should I return this product back to the original owners?

P.S: The new set-top-box that was shipped to me came along with a box so that I may return the old set-top-box. Should I use this box to return the new set-top-box?

P.S.S: What if the new set-top-box was shipped to me and I haven't opened it? How should I return this new unopened set-top-box?

Thanks?

Actually it was a nice answer. You would have to send back the old box that they were expecting as it's in the system then ask for another box by creating a new order and wait for it to send the new one back. You could call them to fix it so you could just mail the new one back but good luck with them on the phone if they get it straight. Also if you read a lot of posts on these forums there's horror stories of people mailing equipment back and verizons warehouse never recording them to the account as returned then charging you for unreturned equipment. By going to a FiOS store you hand them the box, tell them what you are doing, they give you a receipt as proof of returning the box and you are done. Much simpler way. If you'd rather risk mailing it then go for it.
