Yea I agree the FIOS ondemand movie browsing completely sucks. I wish one could just use the old layout without pictures and just have directories and lists. Verizon tends to want to make the Guide and VOD browsing a graphic adventure with lots of clicks and realestate wasting pictures and ads.

The guide is about flashy pictures with ads. Notice how FIOS on-demand channels just randomly appear in the guide at unused channel numbers? It's all about maximizing profit with pay per view on-demand ads everywhere. No consideration is taken for minimizing clicks and useability.

The on demand screen is so slow and crappy, it is hard to believe that Verizon would even allow it to exist like this. They probably lose a lot of revenue from people who just give up looking for a film because it takes so long.
As far as I can tell, you can't search by name without going through all of the movies alphabetically. It took me almost 10 mintues just to get down to the B's after painfully scrolling through all the movies that start with A. Then it over shot by about 10 pages since I wasa apparently hitting the down button too fast and it stored up all those extra button presses.
There has to be a better way. Ever since they updated the software about a year ago, the entire menu and guide functions are buggy and ridiculously slow.
