OK, so my relatives across the country had their FIOS installed today. Install went OK, BUT in the end the tech was in a rush to another job and didn't go over much about the service. Not the end of the world, but it is what it is. Sooooo, they wanted to add MLB Extra Innings to their package immediately. The tech said he could not help them in any way. {word filter avoidance} When I search the FIOS website, I see nothing about how to add the package. In fact if you google Extra Innings and Fios, good luck on finding a direct link to the fios website. To make a long story short our install dates and online order became a mess and finally had to go through a CSR via phone. They said we could indeed order Extra Innings pro-rated as the season is 1/4 over. Can I do this online? Or do I have to call? Or would it be better to go through a Roku or PS3 for MLB Extra Innings? Just wondering. Thanks!
I'm given the option to order it when I log into FIOS TV central and choose programming. I'd wait until after July 4 though. Somebody told me that is when the price will decrease since the season is almost halfway over.
1) call fios
2) it is on their website
3) create an account and log in and go to the upgrade service screen
4) easiest: go to a channel that has the mlb programming on it (it's like 14xx something) and it was say click here to order
