This is outrageous - we pay alot of $$ for our service and losing one of the networks will not be acceptable. Fios better keep Fox25 or I will call Comcast Friday morning to make the switch...

You complain about paying a lot of money for service yet like many, don't realize that Fox 25 wants more money. If Verizon just gives in easily YOU are going to end up paying more on your bill in the end. Be careful what you ask for.

If you think switching is going to solve it just wait until they pull the same thing on the other provider when the contract runs out with them.

Waking up on Thanksgiving and learning Fox 25 is gone from our line up. Hearing the message that the reason why is that Verizon does not want to pass the increased cost on to the suscriber. We have been a long time Verizon customer and if this issue is not resolved a.s.a.p. (in time to watch Thanksgiving football), we will be very upset and will need to review other options. The only people this stand off is affecting is us the customers. A company/network should never let it get to this point. Thankful on this thanksgiving that there are other choices...

Since I woke up this morning to not have Channel 25 i guess my first Black Friday stop will be to the verizon store in my city cancel my account and walk right next door to the Cox store and order from them. I feel this is a breach of my current contrat and this relieves me of any and all payment that could have been applied for cancellation of said contrat during my 2 year peoiod. Drop the channels that no one watches but when you drop a major 4 channel this is totally unaceptable. The crap they are saying on the channel about Fox wanting millions more for the content is sickening. Is Verizon losing money? NO !!!

Million divided by the number of customers is pennies per customer. Stop whining and get our channel back or face the rath of the customers. As a loyal Verizon customer for over 6 years this is the straw that breaks the camels back. BYE BYE VERIZON

So glad I am wired for RCN and Comcast as I will be busy tomorrow switching providers and saving a boat load every month (even if I have to pay a cancellation fee).  While I realize negotiations go two ways, Verizon is the one I pay  for service and therefore the one that is blamed since they pay too much money for crappy channels I am not interested in yet won't pony up for Fox.  At least Fox has programming I watch all a large percentage of the time.

The timing could not be worse on Thanksgiving day.  As I said before, soon these cable companies will be obsolete because there are so many other choices.  All this does is cement that.  You can watch what you want for a lot less and get Fox (and the other networks) free with the over the air attenna.

If you drop Fox25 I will be moving on to Comcast. Too many times now that verizon takes away channels but never reduces the price. Think that's a breach of a contract!

No fox News this morning goodbye verizon you will loose this customer in very short order, my contract with you expires shorty.  But dropping local channels is a breach of contract anyway so you wont have a leg to stand on. Soon you will loose my cell phone business also,  last check in total I have been paying Veizon over 6000 a year!!!!! You have been selling my email address to third parties for well over a decade. your spam filtering is ridiculous in fact only non spam goes into spam folder. and your tech support is infantile

I, for one, am glad that Verizon thinks it's important to push back when content providers demand excessive rate increases. I don't wan't to pay more even though I'm never happy to lose any stations. Of course, Verizon could pass on the rate increase to its stockholders who have seen huge profits at its customers' expense. They don't have to pass rate increases on to us customers; they could just take a little less profit.

If Verizon is no longer going to provide the various FOX channels, aren't they going to save the money they were previously paying for that content? SHOULDN'T THEY REDUCE OUR MONTHLY RATES? If Verizon truly is concerned about passing on excessive rate increases to its customers, shouldn't they pass on the money they will save by no longer having to pay for that content?

HEY, VERIZON, SHOULDN'T WE BE GETTING A RATE REDUCTION IF YOU'RE ELIMINATING CHANNELS?  What you've done so far just means more profit for you at your customers' expense.

PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! KEEP FOX25....I HAVE CALLED VERIZON TWICE IN THE LAST WEEK REGARDING FOX NOTICES SAYING FIOS WILL NOT NEGOTIATE AND SERVICE WILL END THANKSGIVING DAY.  BOTH TIMES I WAS ASSURED BY VERIZON FIOS CUSTOMER SERVICE THAT THIS WAS NOT THE CASE AND THAT THIS CHANNEL WOULD CONTINUE. WELL GUESS WHAT...IT IS THANKS GIVING MORNING AND ALTHOUGH CHANNEL 8 ON FIOS, WHICH IS ASSIGNED TO FOX 25 IS ON...IT IS A STREAMING FIOS AD/ANNOUNCEMENT SAYING COX/FOX25 IS ASKING TOO MUCH MONEY....I DO NOT LIKE BEING USED!!!!  I HAVE RECENTLY AGREED TO A TWO YEAR CONTRACT WITH FIOS WITH THIS CHANNEL AS PART OF MY AGREEMENT...THEREFORE I WOULD LIKE THE SERVICE CONTRACTED!!!  i CAN NOT "BE A LOYAL VERIZON CUSTOMER" IF THIS IS NOT RECTIFIED IMMEDIATELY!!!! HOW LONG ARE WE TO BE VICTIMS OF THIS NEGOTIATION...AND HOW MUCH WILL VERIZON PAY FOR LOSS OF SERVICE DELIVERY AND...LOSS OF CUSTOMERS BEFORE COMPLETING NEGOTIATIONS WITH COX/FOX25?
