Local ads interrupt programs

Over last couple of weeks, you local ad inserts are interrupting my show a lot! These are not regular ads when the show " goes to commercial" these are rogue ads inserted by fios. These are on national networks like Fox and history channel. So NOT inserted by a local channel. Half the ads are for local services and half are for FIOS itself. After an hour on fios help line and 5 transfers, I got one person that gave me a story I might believe. They claim they do not do this. Instead all broadcasters send their signals to a local company who then feeds the stream to fios. In this way, the national station can collect revenue from local advertisers at the cost of show interruptions. I read elsewhere that they will insert a signal that indicates when a local ad can be inserted automatically. I might believe all this.

FYI, if an agent asks to transfer you, make them stay on the line with you until another human answers. That way they share your pain.
