Lost UHD 567

Was channel UHD 567 dropped from the mid tier HD package? It looks like I no longer receive it.

Yes Universal HD is only in the Ultimate package now.

Verizon sent out a notice about it awhile back about it being removed from Extreme this month. I never had it as part of Extreme where I live, but I know others in other areas have.

Check the message center in your dvr/stb menu the message might be there. That's where I saw it....as well as on the pdf version of my bill online.

If you don't get paper bills in the mail its always good to check the pdf of it online as they always put notice of future channel changes on it. In most cases though the message center on the dvr/stb should have it.

I never understand how I can sign a 2 year contract to pay for a certain set of channels, and then they take a channel away during that period of time??    I paid for that package under the assumption I would get that channel.. so how are they not penalized by taking the channel away??

because channel contracts between the network/provider change, prices go up to carry them, etc..

ALL providers can add, change, remove channels at anytime. It's all in the terms of service/contracts.
