As I stated on the CSN+ thread, the ONLY reason I pay for Verizon is live sports. Everything that I watch I can download or get somewhere else. Live sports is the exception and I hope Verizon continues to at least keep pace with their competition. Please add MASN2 HD so I can watch all my Nationals games in HD. I am sure Oriole fans feel the same.

Guys-
From my understanding, the channel doesn't launch until 4/7 - so I wouldn't look for much info from VZ before next week.
I haven't heard anything more that the channel was "under research" at a number of VHO's.

Once again, we are moving close to another sports season starting and the launch of a new HD channel...
And absolutely NOTHING out of the Verizon marketing department.
Meanwhile, i've seen ads left and right from Comcast stating that MASN2 HD will be added this week on Channel 844 here in Delaware.
Seriously Verizon - do you even have a Marketing department? It baffles me how many lost opportunities you guys pass up to make yourself look dedicated to your customers.

I went to watch the game on MASN HD on FIOS. Now says I am not subscribed to MASN HD. Has Verizon pulled a fast one on us? I KNOW I watched it last year. What gives? BTW, I see my 2 yr commitment is up next month. Have FIOS Premier. Any suggestions? (let's get)GO(ing) NATS!

I don't know why Comcast (A MASN COMPETITOR) can announce weeks ago that they will carry MASN2 HD. Verizon, on the other hand, has announced nothing.

You might have to upgrade to Extreme HD to get MASN (& MASN2 when it arrives) HD. A relative of mine had an older package that had MASN, but had to upgrade to Extreme HD to get it in HD.

Still no MASN2 HD, and no mention of it anywhere. How shocking that Verizon is acting like this doesn't exist.

Since I know that Verizon doesn't read these forums (or rarely does, unless they are googling their own products and services when you call for support), thought I'd give them a call. Pretty much got the answer I expected: 1) they don't know anything, 2) they're sorry, and 3) they will pass my concerns along. I believe #1, and maybe #2. But #3? Not so sure. In any event - I got the impression that we'll see MASN2 HD when we see it. When that is is anybody's guess.
You'd think since they can carry MASN/MASN HD and MASN2, it wouldn't be much of an issue to get MASN2 HD on the air. As I explained to the person on the phone, a little foresight would have been nice. The O's are usually out of the race by May, so it would be nice to see them in HD while they're not mathematically eliminated!
