It's now been six weeks now since the DC area people have been taken care of. In six weeks from now, baseball season will be over. They keep saying "it's coming", but I'm starting to get the feeling the rest of us are being lied to. This is ridiculous.

Four weeks to go till the season is over. Verizon has really made it clear which areas matter most to them by giving the DC area preferential treatment.

In July, they said "it is coming" without specifying which year it would arrive to those of us who apparently don't matter. They were quick to point out that approximately 70% of eligible customers now got MASN2 HD. The other 30% continued to be let down day after day, and week after week.

Okay, the 3D stuff is over again. Can we get on with things now? I really do understand Verizon wanting to be part of the first 3D MLB and NFL games, but please work on what we've been asking for for months now. It's been seven weeks since the DC people were given this channel, and the rest of us have been strung along ever since with "it is coming". The people at Verizon have long since appeared to have move on to more important things like software version 1.9 when we still haven't seen 1.8.

If this is a bandwidth issue, why didn't Verizon launch MASN2 HD to the entire footprint instead of putting it on FiOS1? They seemed so proud of this at the time, but all they've done by putting the games on FiOS1 HD is keep the rest of us from being able to see them! Now comes the holiday weekend and most likely, nothing again next week. No words either from the Verizon society of secrets.

In June, we were told "weeks, not days until MASN2 HD arrives". July 21 we were told "it is coming". At this point, I would be shocked if we get the channel before the end of the season. I will never believe anything else I hear from Verizon. They dangle the carrot in front of you and string you along, only to deliver nothing.
What makes the whole thing worse is that Verizon can deliver the HD feed to certain areas, but not all. Just terrible...

Thanks for all the fellow "forgotten" people that posted here. I think it's pretty safe to assume that we won't see MASN2 HD this year, and don't hold your breath for CSN+ HD. I'll just about guarantee that everyone with FiOS1 Potomac will get all the CSN+ games in HD though. All the rest of us get are smoke and mirrors or just flat out lies. So frustrating...

Well, I was able to get a non-answer from 'Heather' based on another of her postings that I replied to - since the MASN2 HD one was being ignored. Here's my post:

Heather -

Since you no longer seem to be monitoring the posts there, I thought I'd try your most recent post, no matter the subject matter: Whatever happened to the rest of us who aren't getting MASN2? See other comments here:

http://forums.verizon.com/t5/Verizon-at-Home/MASN2-HD-Now-on-FiOS1-in-D-C-Maryland-Virginia/ba-p/224...

Seems we have been totally ignored and left in the dark, and now the baseball season is over. Shall we expect the same treatment for CSN MA+ in HD?

Thank you.

And the reply:

Hi LumpyG,

Sorry you feel we haven't been responsive at the MASN2 HD blog post, but we did say there that we're working on bringing MASN2 HD to the remaining footprint, and we'll update everyone when we can.  We don't have any updates beyond what we've said before, but the work is continuing.

Heather

So, still nothing about MASN2 HD and why they could only partially roll it out.

Last year I remember reading that some folks in VHO4 received MASN2-HD for the 2010 MLB season.  Hopefully the rest of us will receive it soon!  The 2011 MLB season begins in less than 6 weeks.

I rec'd word that MASN2 HD should go live for the Delaware residents served out of VHO8 before the season starts.
