While scrolling through the guide the other day, I noticed the Amex channel (interactive). It was showing something about planning road trips. Since we are planning one, I thought I'd check it out. However, when I changed to the channel, it said I needed a FIOS internet connection to view it. I HAVE FIOS internet/TV/Phone. How do I view the channel.
Also can't watch MyDest TV (Channel 674). Apparently, I need a different box? I have a HD DVR in the living room, which is the box I tried to watch on. It is a a Motorola QIP 6416-2.
Thanks for the help.

Solved! Go to Solution.
Its a few videos and quite boring ads.
If your stb/dvr is connecting properly with the router you should be able to acess it. Sometimes they lose connections. Running the option on the box for fixes the box will normally fix it by causing the box to reset its internet connection. Sometimes you need to reset the router and even the stb as well.

MyDest.tv is an MPEG-4 channel, you need a box that can handle MPEG-4 and I believe they are the 7XXX series boxes. Also you need to be an Ultimate HD subsciber, the channel is only part of that package. You won't be able to see it if you're a PRIME or Extreme subscriber.
Thank you. Resetting both the STB and router worked for the Amex Channel.
I noticed after I posted that My Dest TV was part of ultimate and not on extreme, which is what I have.
Thank you for your response.
