NHL Center Ice/NHL Network :

I was wondering if there is any news regarding verizon FIOS picking up NHL Center Ice/NHL Network?

Was told when subcribing that it MAY happen long shot....Will have to cancel my Fios and go to Comcast if they don't pick up both

Any updates?

NHL Network or NHL Center Ice would be great!  What's the word?  Does someone from Verizon actually respond?  I think other systems have NHL Network as a free channel.  I would really like to see more sports channels available, like Fox Sports regional networks.

Yeah what is the word????

How about a response Verizon???

I haven't heard a thing yet? When I subscribed to FIOS this summer (cause I moved so I switched) the guy was saying they got NHL Center Ice Package.

I hope he wasn't pulling my leg just to get me signed up cause if they don't get it that and the NHL Network I am going back to Comcast.

I haven't heard anything for our area either I just got the new channel lineup in the mail over the weekend so neither is included. I was hoping for at least the NHL Network most other provider do carry it or plan to. Looks like Verizon won't.  Smiley Sad

I mentioned I wanted NHL Center Ice/NHL network to telephone rep two weeks ago. He said "they are negotiating".  When people say that, I take it to mean they won't offer it. We shall see.

Add me to the NHL Network / NHL Center Ice package. I know a few other FiOS customers at work who would jump instantly on this.

Every time they come to my door, wanting me to add TV to my Fios internet sevice, I tell them NHL Center Ice is the deal breaker. Now I find out they don't broadcast PSU football here in Chester County? Man, am I glad I sent that guy packing. Love Fios but not about to trust Verizon. Comcast lives another day until I can confirm, that the sports I bought HD to watch, are all really available with Verizon.

Add me to those who have yet to switch from my cable company (TWC So Cal) to Verizon FiOS due to the lack on Center Ice. Every person who comes to my door and whoever I see in the Big Box Electronics Store I let them know I am not switching until I see an announcement for Center Ice.

As we approach October 8th with out an annoucement, I may be stuck with the horrible HD PQ on TWC until the NHL Conference Finals in May 2009.
