NY sports networks (baseball) advertised as part of "Extreme HD" package but no games broadcast

The main reason I switched to FIOS was to receive the YES Network.  NOT ONCE is it mentioned on the web page with the channel lineup for my area that the games are not broadcast (nor for SNY or NESN which are also "available").  Why advertise the channels if they do not show any baseball games?  It should be EXPLICITLY STATED THAT THE GAMES ARE ONLY BROADCAST IN NY AND PARTS OF NJ, WHICH I DID NOT LEARN UNTIL AFTER THE INSTALLATION.  I find this misleading and dishonest advertising.

The baseball games play fine for me.  If you are outside the Yankee's or Met's market definited by the MLN then of course you don't get the games.  This is part of MLB's blackout rules and has nothing to do with Verizon or any other carrier.  If want the baseball games and you out of market you can purchase the out of market games as a separate package.

Please educate yourself beore purchasing..

Its been that way for many many years! thats the way it is with every cable and satellite company, unless you live in the new york mets and yankees territory   to receive their games.same with every professional  major league baseball hocket and basketball team. That is why the mlb baseball ,nba league pass and nhl center ice sports packages were cerated for the out of market teams!,and of course if you want the NFL sunday ticket you have to have directv or  a playstation 3. ay least i think you can still get the nfl package on the PS#.

Sorry, but you are totally offbase and totally incorrect. It was never marketed that way, they are legally unable to show out of market games. YOU made a bad assumption.  The ONLY way to watch Out of Market MLB games is to subscribe to the Extra Innings package.

And this is nothing new, it has been this way for years.
