OANN (HD 616) brings up MSNBC (HD 603)

I don't know if Verizon wants to influence its viewers' politics but tonight I punched in 616 on my remote (OANN) but the channel selected was 603 (MSNBC). As you may know OANN and MSNBC are at the opposite ends of the political spectrum.

For a while I thought it might be an HD bug, so I punched in 116 (OANN) but the channel selected was 103 (C-SPAN), again two channels at polar political opposites.

I did not have the "bug" with any other news channel including Fox, ABC, etc. To fix the problem, I did a power-off reset on the box.

Could this be "media liberal bias" in action that everyone is talking about or what?

I  was troubled by your post, so I checked all my Verizon boxes.  I was relieved to see that all the networks showed up on their appropriate channels.  Perhaps your "liberal" fingers hit the wrong numbers on your remote control.  That theory seems to be just as valid as yours.
