On-Demand Availability/Cost

Hi all. I'm just wondering if anyone else thinks it's terrible how many on-demand titles Verizon charges us for? Seriously I never even considered going back to Comcast once I had Fios, but this On-Demand situation is getting worse and worse. I have a show that is about to air the last epsiode of the season, and I wanted to watch it on-demand so I could catch up in time to watch the season finale...but no can do. Oh Verizon "has" it on-demand, but they're charging you to watch every episode!!! It's not as if I wanted to watch something that's 10 years old, it  JUST came on!

Has this been an issue for anyone else? And does anyone have any inside information as to WHY Verizon seems to be so stingy with their free On-Demand selections? I mean to make money, obviously. I just don't see how Verizon can justify gouging customers for on-demand tv when we're already paying for the channels--and especially when providers like Comcast seem to be SO generous with the on-demand selections they offer for free. Am I missing something??

It has been stated that Verizon just offers the content they get.

Could be their buying power is lower than it is for someone like Comcast that has 5X or more the number of subscribers.

I have found as far as VOD movies go, if Verizon doesn't have it for rent, then the other streaming services don't either.

While I do agree Verizon's On-Demand leaves an awful lot to be desired, they are not the only ones charging for content. And do NOT fool yourself, Comcast is NOT generous, they charge for those same shows (I know first hand we have both, not in the same house). Those charges is coming from the content providers.

Verizon is the WORST!

Prices for services are creased sky high for current customers then they shove their advertising down your mail box weekly with amazing offers for new customers. Don’t even reply with REWARDS PROGRAM. It too is useless and Verzion could never calculate

Channels are removed batches at a time not replaced. I think I have less than 1/2 of what I started. Widgets, GONE. (useful ones), email GONE -= causing problems for years.

NOW CHARGING FOR EACH EPISODE OKD AND NEW FOR CHANBELS WE ARE ALREADY SUBSCRIBE TO & PAY EXORBITANT MONTHLY RATES.

COME ON VERIZON. CALL IT WHAT  IT IS. PAY PER VIEW OR GOUGE THE CUSTOMER AND LAUGH AT THEM. HELL CUSTOMERS EVEN HAVE TO PROVIDE THEIR OWN SUPPORT NETWORKS.

IF ALL OF THAT ISNT ENOUGH COMPANIES LIKE COMCAST/INFINITY UPGRADE THEIR SERVICES WITH THE LATST TECHNOLOGIES AND EQUIPMENT. VOICE ACTIVATED SEARCHES THEY ADD CHANNELS  AND PROVIDE SERVICE  IVE HAD THE SAME EQUIPEMENT THAT I AM FOREVER HAVING TO RESTART AND REBOOT FOR9 YEARS

VERIZON STILL CAN NOT SEEM TO UNDERSTAND THE CONCEPT OF RESUME!

BYE BYE VERIZON. YOU COST ME KORE THAN MY GAS & ELECTRIC BILLS COMBINED. THEY ACTUALLY WORK
