Me too. I already got TW cable going in my house, and am figuring on cancelling Verizon as soon as I can get out of the contract cheap enough. Too bad about Verizon, they don't respond or say a word, just let us sit here and rot. {word filter avoidance}

I have FIOS, am happy with the service. But, will change to DISH if they do not add the Pac 12 network. As a fan of USC for

many years, I cannot watch the game at home nor in a sports bar.

The So Cal sports bars all have DirectTV and they do not have the network either. I had DirectTV before switching to

FIOS and they were good - I will cancel my landline with Verizon after many years and get Internet elsewhere by the first of

November if no Pac 12 network is being added. DISH is not bad in my area but it is a shame Verizon FIOS does not

go with the flow and add the network. For me, cancel the Big Ten stuff as I do not care...

Hope the people at Verizon are watching this link and do something SOON. Next game is Saturday and I am

getting more mad by the minute...

Waited on their phones yesterday to connect to a human to complain. Got disconnected (normal condition) before

getting any answer about the addition of the Pac 12 network.

Okay, from what I can gather, Verizon will have-

Pac12 Network

MSG+2 HD

FOX Sports Network (I guess taking place of SPEED)

TV Everywhere via iPad

I'll believe it when I see it, but we'll be looking for them!

Well as with any new channel the provider wants lots of $$$$ and Verizon does not want to pay it.  Seriously I don't want to pay an additional rate hike to add the PAC-10 channel.  I'm big college football fan and PAC-10 channel has yet to have a big game, just all the games rejected by ABC/ESPN.   These sport channels also have the added complexity of different tiers and different local markets.

Verizon certainly does not know if and when the channel will be provided.  They only know the current status of the talks which are held confidental.

You only have two options.. wait or leave.  Your choice.

This is what I got in response to a question about getting the PAC 12 Network :

Thank you for choosing Verizon. I have received your email dated 10/31/2012 regarding The Pac-12 Network.

I apologize that the current lineup is not meeting your expectations. Verizon understands how important it is to have access to your favorite channels on FiOS TV. We are working to provide the most robust entertainment programming in the industry.

Our FiOS TV management team is aware of the demand for The PAC-12 Network. At this time however, we do not have an estimated date for its addition to our lineup. Please be assured that we are giving it full consideration in future programming decisions.

On behalf of our FiOS TV management team, thank you for taking the time to provide us with your recommendation. We value your feedback regarding our current programming choices.

Please feel free to register for the Verizon Community Forums, and add your FiOS TV channel suggestion at the following link:

If you have additional questions, or if we may be of assistance to you in the future, please let us know. We look forward to serving you.

Thank you for using Verizon. We appreciate your business.

Sounds like a pretty canned answer to me.......which tells me nothing about if FIOS is actually trying to get it and how hard they are trying. Or, are they just screwing with their customers. I believe the latter of the two. Possibly time to move on....They give us the Big Ten Network (we are not in the Mid West) and no Pac 12......Sounds ludicrous, because it is !
Buck up and do the right thing to those paying the bills for FIOS......including your paychecks !

That answer makes it sound to me like they are in negotiations, which are strictly confidential. Neither side can say anything until an agreement is done. I really don't think that are hiding things for no reason, then giggling at customers' frustrations. I do believe though, that the priority for Southern California was getting a deal done for Time Warner Cable Sportsnet. Maybe since that deal is done and the channels are on, Verizon can move forward with Pac12.

I agree.

Also keep in mind that maybe the Pac-12 Network wants to be distributed nationally, like the Big Ten Network which could be complicating these discussions (cost, capacity, etc.)

I would think Pac-12 would look very good on 82/582. 🙂

Please let us know if you are not planning to add the Pad-12 network so that we can change to a provider that carries it.
