What the heck? The empty channel slot is there for 575, but only the SD channel is active, and it looks like crap. How can this be?

Try rebooting the box. Are you in TX or FL?

This is crazy, just add channel #575 for everyone!!! Verizon needs to get their act together.

nope, i'm in virginia. apparently tx and fla have it in hd.

If you are not in Tx or Fl you will not get 575.

can not beleive I paid extra for extreme to get SEC Network and it doesn't have HD. If it weren't for early termination fees, I'd be out of here

The WatchESPN app for Xbox and Fire TV don't support the SEC Channel games yet and now I can't watch my favorite team in HD.
Will we be getting this channel in HD this season or will this be a constant point of frustration each week?

Verizon said that SEC will initially be in SD for those outside of SEC territory.
They will look at usage to determine if it warrants adding HD outside of that area.

My wife and I are closing on our own house in two weeks. This will be a serious consideration considering the house is already wired for DirectTV which, as I understand it, carries the SEC Network in HD on channel 611 in all regions.
