I'm hoping my bill doesn't go up for a channel I'll never watch. Seriously I don't need to see Florida beat up on TeenyWeeny University. This channel just has all the crappy games rejected by ABC, CBS, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU.

I am very anxious for Verizon to carry the SEC Network in Northern Virginia this fall. I have also had Verizon as long as they have been around but definately want access to the SEC Network.

Does a Verizon representative monitor these forums? Any more updates on this? I've had FIOS for 8 years now and I will be switching to Dish on Aug 1st if FIOS does not announce carrying the SEC Network.

Will be leaving for Dish in August if no SEC Network on FiOS. I love my FiOS, but I will give my money to Dish instead.

8/1 is my cutoff. I'm gone with no SEC Network on FiOS.

Not really. The admins do review posts for some things, and will sometimes escalate a problem. I even suspect that they may forward some things to the powers that be. But they are not allowed to comment on threads such as this one even if they know somthing about what is going on, UNLESS an announcement by Verizon has been made by those responsibile for adding channels.
This has been obvious serveral times when, after they started adding some channel that was being clammored for and started to be seen by some VHO areas, they didn't comment.

It was reported that Comcast is about to announce they are going to offer the SEC Network. Has there been any news from Verizon FIOS? I wish they would at least let us know if they are in negotiations or not. Verizon PLEASE offer the SEC Network!!

SEC Network will be a channel with ESPN. It will broadcast athletic and other events from all the conference schools.
Verizon seems to be ignoring that it is the largest provider across Texas, that this will the the largest conference network in the nation, and it will generate the largest amount of subscribers across the nation. At the same time it continues to carry a flop of a network that has horrible ratings that only a couple of providers carry.
Wake up Verizon. I have had Verizon for nearly 30 years but that will change if you do not pick it up.
