I recently signed up for the Starz/Encore premium package and noticed that none of the flexview movies are widescreen. Is this just a temporary mistake or will you not be offering widescreen support for them?
If I did not post this in the correct forum please feel free to move it.
Thanks for any info..

Please make sure you are looking in the HD folder for those. All of the HD titles in those folder should be in widescreen.

Keep in mind I am referring to flexview online viewing with a computer. You mentioned folder so I think you are referring to watching a movie on the TV using on demand.

You have to keep in mind that Starz/Encore (along with HBO/MAX) are anti-widescreen. They detrimentally crop all their widescreen movies to 16X9. Is that what you are referring to? Or are they cropped even further to 1.33:1? (which wouldn't surprise me, since these channels care little for the films or the folks who watch them.)

Just to clarify I am referring to watching starz flexview online with a computer. Every movie is in 4:3 format and I just wanted to confirm that is correct and I do not have a setting off for my computers browser.
thanks

All the flexview titles are in SD for Starz & Encore. Disappointing.

I notice if I use the verizon media manager for my PC and view the Starz flexview titles that they do display in widescreen so it appears to be a bug when trying to view the movies online with my Win7 and IE9.
