Suggest Channels to Add to FiOS TV

Do those here who are sayiung that they will leave FiOS if they don't carry FSC...where you gonna go?  DIRECTTV, Cablevisioin, and most Comcast systems don';t carry it either.  Right now, I believe only DISH carries it (but You must buy a special package to get it, and even then, it's not available everywhere, dependent on satellite direction)..  Hard to believe that anyone would trade in the superior HD picture quality of FiOS for weaker PQ on ALL  other HD channels, just for one part-time HD soccer channel. (

As other first time posters have stated, there was no reason to request channels on this forum until a channel with compelling enough content was available but not carried by this provider.

Well (and I'm not saying this applies to you or any other specific indiviual) , I've since confirmed that at least two other sites that I know of have indeed posted direct links to this forum, telling people to post here requesting it.  One is AVS and the other is Big Soccer.  There are probably others as well.  That pretty much explains the plethora of requests to me.  Again, not trying to knock the game or the fans.

Just switched over to Fios from Cablevision. The only only channel I miss is EuroNews. Any possibility of a channel add in the near future?

Fox Soccer Channel HD is a 720p high definition simulcast of Fox Soccer Channel that launched in January of 2010. Verizon FiOS in added the channel in HD on January 30. On February 10, 2010, FSC HD became available on Dish Network. [2].

I understand this thread is more focused on national channels but I would like to see the following OTA sub-channels added to FiOS in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area.

WFAA 8.2

Nationally, I would like to see:

NASA TV

Cartoon Network HD

Hi Kathleen Please, please, please add Fox Soccer Channel HD as soon as possible! The Premier League is in the last third of its fixtures, the UEFA Champions League is in the knockout phase, as is the FA Cup, US Major League Soccer starts in a month, and good golly MIss Molly, the World Cup is coming in June! FSC HD! FSC HD! FSC HD! Thanks!

fox soccer HD - unlike many other channels, fans of this channel WILL SWITCH PROVIDERS to get it.

BBC America - unlike many channels requested this channel has alot of HD content

Get a move on or I'm switching!!!!

It's great to see such a turnout of soccer fans!! I think Vz will do the right thing!
