People that want MSG HD, thank cable co. greed! They are the ones that are owners of MSG and they do not want to play far.

Hello All,

I've seen quite a few threads and posts floating around suggesting various channels/programs you would like to see on FiOS TV.  In an effort to consolidate the information, I have decided to create this single thread about the subject.  Feel free to reply to it with your suggestion(s) on what you would like to see on FiOS TV.

Please note:  I make no promises as to whether or not you will see these channels/programs on FiOS TV.  Though I do know that the right people here at Verizon are looking at this thread for your feedback and advice on the matter.

Regards,

Verizon months ago applied to the FCC about receiving MSG. Contact the FCC about this issue.

I would like to see all local Fox Sports Net, MSG, Comcast and all other local sports nets available to all regions on Fios.

Alot of us are transplants from other regions and would like to see all regional sports.

at&t, Directv, Dish, and alot of local cable companies have this available to their customers, i would like to see Verizon have it also.

I would like to see these channels in HD.

DIY Network

RFD

GAC

truTv

Crime

CBS College Sports

All sports packages such as MLB Extra Innings in HD

I thought I had the best provider.  I pay verizon over $300 a month,

and they insanely turn fox soccer channel's HD feed back down to standard def..

this is insane.

Come on VERIZON?!!!   what is the hold up?

you have HD channels for fishing/basket weaving/crotchet and everytyhing else imaginable but the worls most popular sport???

What is wrong with you!!!!?????????

No offense intended, but...while soccer may be popular in the rest of the world, Verizon services the U.S. (and only a few parts of it at that!).  As such, it's popularity in the States is relatively minor.  That said, I'm sure Verizon will add it at some point. But remember, except for one carrier (DISH, I think) right now NO ONE else is carry FSC-HD either. Oddly enough, I don't see  Cablevision, Comcast, etc., being flooded with requests for it..

That is not to say that it shouldn't be added.  But right now, space is limited.  And there are numerous other channels that have been around much longer than FSC-HD that many are still waiting for.  Fox is known for charging a lot of money for channels. Going by a listing someone else posted, the Fox Sports Network is the second-most expensive channel carried.  One wonders...how much extra would soccer fans be willing to pay for FSC-HD?I

Please add MLB Extra Innings HD2. For $199 a season, I think it is reasonable to expect Verizon to carry both of the two HD channels provided by In-Demand.

Could you please add BBC America HD?  BBC America HD was announced June/July 2009, and it has almost been a year since.  The new Doctor Who season is about to begin and I would love to see it in HD as well as a lot of the other programs that are on BBC America, like Top Gear.  Verizon, please hurry!

How about MASN2 HD? It looks like Verizon has ignored its launch.

SPT Seabra Portuguese Television. They broadcast soccer games from overseas. I can't tell you how many people don't leave Comcast and Optimum, because of this channel.
