My vote goes to:
BBC America HD
AMC HD
Where are all the "NATIONAL" public interests channels that fulfill the FCC "MUST CARRY" laws??? Awesome channels like the following???
1) LINK TV http://www.linktv.org/
2) FREE SPEECH TV http://www.freespeech.org/
Channels like these for the most part do not charge a fee to carry the channels... Since Satellite TV does not carry the local public interest channels they carry the national ones like the above to fulfill the FCC requirement. Why not cut satellite off at the knees and carry these channels as well as the local ones you carry now? Verizon would be increasing the public interest substantially and inviting many satellite viewers to try FIOS TV!!!
BBC HD here too..
pretty please with a cherry on top..
thanks

Thanks for the great thread. I am going to keep it short with only my most pressing suggestions.
1) best show on TV starts this Sunday and it is sad that I can't see Man Men on AMC HD.
2) I had heard that NBATV/NBATVHD would be available for the start of the new season, but I will reiterate my desire for that channel here.
and, most importantly, 3) Fox Soccer Channel goes to HD on January 1, 2010. This channel should be mandatory. Get it done now so you don't have to worry about it in December. This would lead me to look into a switch if you failed to add the channel and your competitors added it.
Finally, I just want to thank you for keeping up the good fight against Cablevision's blatantly illegal tactics of keeping MSG in HD and other channels away from you. I'd love to see MSG in HD, but I'm not going to reward Cablevision for their sneaky underhanded tactics. I will reward them for FSC HD and NBA TV HD though, so keep on adding channels in HD! Thanks!
One more. Hadn't considered this since I'm in NYC metro, but if you add the "mtn." network to your sports package I would immediately add it. HD would be an awesome bonus. Verizon Fios rocks!

NFL RedZone Channel, pretty please with sugar on top!?!?!?!?!??!?! May I also get CBS College Sports HD?
I am even willing to be a beta tester for both channels. I won't tell anyone!
