This page is linked from the Flyers website: "http://flyers.nhl.com/index.html" under the heading of: TV Schedule click on: TCN FAQ
and it brings you to: "http://www.csnphilly.com/pages/inner_09/comcast_faq"
which says:
Comcast Network - FAQ
What is the Comcast Network?
In the Fall of 2008, Comcast Corporation announced that CN8 would be restructured into two more locally focused networks in the Philadelphia and DC areas. The Comcast Network serves local viewers with more targeted sports programming and public affairs. The network was launched on January 6, 2009.
I don’t have Comcast Cable, how can I get The Comcast Network?
The Comcast Network is available to every TV distributor - cable, satellite and telco - that serves viewers in the network’s territory [roughly defined as the Greater Philadelphia area, including Eastern & Central PA, South NJ and Delaware, subject to league rules and restrictions]. Please contact your TV provider to request that the network be added to your lineup.
There is a Flyers game airing on The Comcast Network, but why can’t I view it in my area?
Flyers games are blacked out in the following areas in Pennsylvania due to National Hockey League rules regarding home team markets:
Huntingdon, Lewistown, Lykens, Mount Union, Philipsburg, State College
I live in the New England area and used to receive CN8, however I can no longer find the channel on my television?
Yes, all Sixers games on the Comcast Network will be made available to viewers throughout the CSN Philadelphia territory.

Comcast says its avaiable but what price to other telco's to have to offer to their customers. Agaon Comcast is bunch of {word filter avoidance} sorry I can't think of another word to call them myabe I can but it for sure wouldn't be a good one to post here.
They know Flyers love their team and want to watch the games if they can't attend so why not give it to them and try and get a few of them back to Comcast. They have a ZERO chance of me going back to them even if they offered FREE services.
Yep good luck because they will REALLY want back from Verizon and others to carry this channel its all just bull and who's the odd guys out the teams fans. Nope the NHL Network will not carry these games and if you are in the local arrea you will be blacked out viewing them on NHL Center Ice they were last season.

AMC coming in October is fine, but after reading all these posts, BBCA and Cartoon Network should be added as they are two of the most requested channels, we should already have them

I would like to see SNY added to the line-up. In addition, what is the status of the NFL Sunday Ticket - is that a Directv exclusive? How do we get it on to FIOS????

It's interesting that Comcast likes to say that The Comcast Network is available to every cable and satellite provider, but they refuse to make CSN Philly available to satellite. Like I stated above, Comcast is trying to keep ALL of its sports programming all to themselves. I really wonder what kind of terms TCN has for other providers to carry this garbage channel. I used to have the Mid-Atlantic version when I had Comcast, but it was completely worthless here without the exclusive sports programming.

I would LOOOOVE to see the Canadian channel CTV added to the lineup. Pretty please?
Also would like to see the BBC channel added as well (not BBCA or BBC international, the original).
Thank you for your time.

Before switching to Verizon FIOS, we had Time Warner cable in Los Angeles. My family misses two primary channels we had with TWC:
1. Anime Network on Demand - your Funimation channel repeats the same programs over and over again with few changes since the choices are limited to those released by this company.
2. Imaginasian - hard to believe with the diverse market being served by Verizon, you do not offer an Asian channel as part of your regular programming package.
